Another favorite aspect is the casual ambiance, perfect for relaxing after a long day. People frequently mention the cleanliness of the pub, noting that the toilets are some of the cleanest they've encountered. The friendly management who chats with customers create a welcoming environment, and the beer garden is a highlight during warm weather. Additionally, those who enjoy bar games can make great use of dartboards and pool tables while sipping their drinks. The pub's community events, like quiz nights and live music, keep patrons coming back for more.
Some guests express disappointment about the limited selection of real ales, especially during peak hours when only a couple may be available. This can be frustrating for those seeking a wider variety on tap. Additionally, while many praise the atmosphere, there have been occasional comments about busier times—Saturday evenings often reach full capacity, which can lead to longer wait times for drinks and seating. Noise levels can spike during lively events, making conversation difficult for some. Additionally, certain patrons wish for a more diverse selection of food options beyond the bar bites. While the menu is tasty, it could expand to cater to different tastes, especially for those seeking lighter or healthier choices.
Came up to Long Eaton for a family gathering and met here beforehand for a drink and a bite to eat. Pork pies and baps were great. Good beer selection with well-kept ales. Toilets were spotless

I really enjoyed this place. The owners were behind the bar and chatting to everyone. Nice beer on the pump and the interior was nice. Pool and darts available and a great looking beer garden.

Super cherry stout. Nice pint, quiet and you can pick up your Chinese afterwards! Seems a good spot and £4.4 a pint is good value.
One of the best places locally to get a good pint of ale! Amongst other drinks of course. The interior is nice and warm. Super comfy seats. It's a bonus that a lot of cute dogs come in too! (:
